Kieran Trippier has withdrawn from the England squad in order to attend a hearing following an FA charge for allegedly breaching betting offences last year, according to reports.
The 30-year-old, who captained his country for the first time in the win against Wales on Thursday, was charged with misconduct in May in relation to gambling offences, whilst completing his transfer to Atletico Madrid from Tottenham in 2019.
The full back faces a six-month ban, according to The Athletic, for the alleged breach of the rules in July 2019 and after leaving Gareth Southgate's squad will now miss the Nations League clash against Denmark on Wednesday.
