Victor Wanyama and Harry Kane scored to lead Tottenham past Manchester United in the last-ever match at White Hart Lane.

Tottenham bade farewell to White Hart Lane in fitting style on Sunday, beating Manchester United 2-1 and completing an unbeaten season at their 118-year-old stadium.

Roared on by a deafening crowd, Victor Wanyama scored an early opener and Harry Kane doubled Spurs' lead shortly after half-time.

United eventually made a game of it and, when Wayne Rooney halved the deficit in the 71st minute, the fears returned that Jose Mourinho's side might spoil the party.
