Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has blamed a 'lack of consistency' for this side's shortcomings this season, and admitted it may only be remembered for their 7-0 win over Manchester United.

Despite winning their last three games, including a 6-1 win over Leeds last week, the Reds have had an undoubtedly disappointing campaign, falling from quadruple challengers to potentially not qualifying for European football.

A win over Tottenham on Sunday would see Liverpool leapfrog their opponents into fifth place, but poor form earlier in the year has cost them a title challenge.
