Jose Mourinho URGES Granit Xhaka to get the Covid-19 vaccine after the Arsenal midfielder tested positive for the virus on international duty with Switzerland after REFUSING the jab

Roma manager Jose Mourinho has urged Granit Xhaka to get the Covid-19 vaccine on social media.

The Arsenal midfielder tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with Switzerland, having previously refused to get the jab.

And former Tottenham boss Mourinho told Xhaka - who he tried to bring to Roma from the Gunners this summer - to look after himself and just be vaccinated.

His comment read: 'Get the jab Granit and be safe'.

The Portuguese's words came on one of Xhaka's Instagram posts, which shows the 28-year-old smiling with the caption: 'Excited about the challenges ahead.
