The participants have been working in the Foundation’s Volunteering Kiosk at Wembley Stadium on matchdays to gain vital skills and work experience for the hospitality and catering industry.
As a further reward, the successful young people were introduced to the crowd during the half-time interval at last Saturday’s match against West Brom.
Staffed solely by 16- to 24-year-olds living within the local area around Wembley, all volunteers working at the Kiosk are guaranteed an interview for a job with Delaware upon completion of the course.
The Volunteering Kiosk forms part of the Club’s commitment to providing community development, training and employment opportunities to local people during our season at Wembley.
