Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen will face no disciplinary action in relation to his clash with Jay Rodriguez at Southampton.
Vertonghen caught Rodriguez in the face with a hand as the pair tussled for the ball during the first-half of Tottenham 's 4-1 win on Wednesday.
The incident was not seen at the time by referee Mike Dean and his officials and was referred to the post-match review panel of former referees.

The three-man panel studied the footage but could not reach a unanimous decision because they could not be certain of his intent; so will be no charge for violent conduct against the Belgian defender.
