Club staff and players have been collecting goods for donation over recent weeks and the defender did the honours by delivering the load to the Food Bank, located just off the A10.
Volunteers at the Food Bank, many of whom are Spurs supporters, were delighted with Jan’s appearance as he unloaded crates of food, including cereals, pasta and tinned goods, as well as toothbrushes, toilet rolls and nappies.
This trip was made extra special with the help of one young Spurs fan. Frankie Brooks was invited by us to assist Jan and was presented with a signed shirt to recognise his efforts in raising money for the homeless.
