Ilkay Gundogan accused Manchester City of failing to practise what they preached as they crashed at home to Tottenham.
Gundogan, the scorer of City's first goal in the five-goal thriller, said Pep Guardiola had drummed into the players before the game the importance of keeping the ball.
But instead they coughed up a handful of openings, three of which Tottenham took, with Harry Kane grabbing two to inflict City's first league defeat since October.
'I remember us being here before the match saying we need to be careful when we lose the ball,' said the German midfielder.
