'I don't think he helps himself': Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher criticise Daniel Levy for leaving Cristian Stellini in charge at Tottenham after Antonio Conte's sacking as the former Man United defender suggest the Spurs chairman did so to 'save money'

Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher believe Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy made the wrong decision by appointing Cristian Stellini as the club's interim first-team manager.

Stellini was previously brought to the club by Antonio Conte as his assistant manager before being promoted by Levy into the head role following his predecessors eventful departure after Tottenham's 3-3 draw with Southampton before the international break.

Sky Sports duo Neville and Carragher couldn't understand the reasoning behind giving Stellini full reign of the side during the end-of-season run-in as he was drastically similar to his previous boss.
