Interim Tottenham boss Ryan Mason has insisted Harry Kane was not waving goodbye to fans as the striker completed a lap of honour following their dismal 3-1 home defeat to Brentford.
Kane was joined by his family and the rest of the Spurs squad on a mini lap of honour at the end of the Saturday's final home match of the campaign.
The England captain was seen waving to the fans, amid continuing speculation surrounding his future at the club.
Mason dismissed the suggestion post-match that Kane's wave was a farewell to supporters ahead of any potential move away in the summer.
