Jose Mourinho has admitted that Steven Bergwijn was not his first-choice option in the January window but he is now very happy that the club signed the Dutch winger.
Bergwijn gave Spurs the lead in Friday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford, a fine run finishing with a powerful strike that forced a mistake out of David de Gea.
That made it three goals in eight games for the 22-year-old, who signed from PSV for £26.7m in January.
Speaking on Monday, Mourinho said: 'He's a good player.
