Harry Redknapp has been drafted in by Bournemouth caretaker boss Jonathan Woodgate to help out until the club find a successor to Jason Tindall.
Woodgate, who played under Redknapp at Tottenham between 2008 and 2011, oversaw the Cherries' 3-2 victory over Birmingham on Saturday.
Redknapp launched his managerial career at the south coast club in 1983 and he spent nine years there, winning the Third Division title in 1987, before joining West Ham in 1994.
The 73-year-old hasn't managed since leaving Birmingham in 2017 but has returned to work on a temporary basis to offer his support to his former player.
