Harry Kane's hat-trick record bid may be scuppered by illness as Tottenham star recovers from a cold

Harry Kane's bid to become the first player in 71 years to score a hat-trick in three consecutive English league games could be ruined by illness.

Kane, who scored back-to-back trebles against Burnley and Southampton over Christmas, will be assessed on a day-to-day basis in the lead-up to Spurs' visit to Swansea on Tuesday night.
