Harry Kane would have been a BETTER fit at Man City than Erling Haaland, claims Thierry Henry, as he insists the 'complete' Spurs striker offers more going forward - despite the Norwegian scoring 31 goals in 29 games this season!

Thierry Henry believes Tottenham striker Harry Kane would have been a better signing for Manchester City than Erling Haaland despite the Norwegian's ridiculous goalscoring numbers in his debut campaign.

City failed with a move for Kane in the summer of 2021 and then went on to bring in the coveted Haaland a year later.

The big striker took the lead by storm and leads the race for the Golden Boot with 25 goals, second-placed Kane trailing him with 17.

However, Haaland's goals have not improved City in terms of winning, Pep Guardiola's somewhat inconsistent team having trailed Arsenal for most of the season.
