Harry Kane is a doubt for England’s double-header with Brazil and Belgium after injuring his ankle on a record-breaking day at Bayern Munich.
Kane collided with a post towards the end of Bayern’s 5-2 win at Darmstadt, in which the England captain had earlier grabbed his 31st league goal of the season. He stayed down clutching his left ankle before being substituted.
Bayern cast doubt on whether the skipper would be able to join up with Gareth Southgate’s England for their friendly against Brazil at Wembley on Saturday and the following week’s clash with Belgium.
