Harry Kane put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year mega-deal with Tottenham on Thursday, one which will see him take home more than £100,000 a week.
That can rise to around £120,000 with performance-related bonuses and against Swansea, Kane was trying to trigger them. He did just that.
The best paid player in Tottenham’s history scored twice, once from the penalty spot and once from open play. In truth, though, he could have had five or six against a Swansea side that were simply sitting ducks.

The 23-year-old only came back from an ankle injury in November but has scored six goals in five games in all competitions since.
