Harry Kane Ruled out for a Month with Ankle Injury Suffered vs. Bournemouth

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will be sidelined for a month after suffering damage to the lateral ligaments in his right ankle against Bournemouth on Sunday.

The England frontman came off after 34 minutes of Spurs' 4-1 win at the Vitality Stadium, and the club confirmed the extent of Kane's setback on Wednesday:

TEAM NEWS: Preliminary assessments have confirmed that @HKane has damaged lateral ligaments in his right ankle. The England striker sustained the injury following a challenge in our 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Sunday and is expected to return to First Team training next month.
