Don't call Harry Kane the Assist King — he’s unlikely to take too kindly to it. It wouldn’t be entirely accurate either.
Thirteen goals already for Tottenham this season prove that Kane, who is set to win his 50th cap for England in Belgium on Sunday, hasn’t lost any of his sharpness in front of goal.
However, the complete striker — rather than the assist king — would be a more suitable term. And it would certainly sit more comfortably with Kane himself.
Goals — all 249 of them for club and country — have elevated Kane to where he is today and he is not trying to disassociate himself with the habit of a lifetime.
