Wales legend Gareth Bale retires from football with a bumper net worth of £119million ($145million).
Before hanging up his boots, the football star was the 23rd highest earner in the MLS after pocketing a yearly salary of $2.3million from LAFC.
The 33-year-old also earned £500,000-a-week sitting on the bench in his final few years at Real Madrid.
Bale copped almost £90million from being a substitute, with £61million coming from matches he appeared in, according to the Daily Star.
Bale forged his career in England as a left-back for Southampton and was bought by Spurs for a fee of £5million in 2007.
