Marco Silva described Fulham’s performance as utter perfection while David Moyes blamed this defeat on West Ham using up all of their energy in the midweek win over Tottenham.
Moyes has now lost 238 games as a Premier League manager – the most in the competition’s history, level with Harry Redknapp – and this was one of his worst days.
While Moyes hid behind West Ham’s hectic schedule, Silva heaped his players with praise. ‘It was a brilliant performance from us,’ said Fulham's boss.
