Hugo Lloris has revealed he sent Tottenham team-mate Harry Kane a text to lift his spirits after he missed a penalty in England's World Cup quarter-final loss to France.
Kane had scored a penalty earlier in the game and, to the surprise of France's players, stepped up again when England were awarded a second spot-kick for a shove on Mason Mount.
The Tottenham striker sent his strike well over Lloris' bar and it proved decisive as England were knocked out.
