Tottenham fans were left stunned as Jose Mourinho made four half-time changes when Spurs' were trailing at Royal Antwerp in Thursday's Europa League tie.
The iconic Portuguese boss made a flurry of attacking switches at the interval with Giovani Lo Celso, Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn and Carlos Vinicius all being replaced as the north Londoners went in 1-0 down thanks to Lior Refaelov's first-half strike.
Son Heung-Min, Lucas Moura, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Erik Lamela were all brought on for Spurs but the changes did not work as Tottenham went down 1-0 against the Belgian leaders come full-time.
