Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he would love to manage Lionel Messi in the future - and preferably at the pair's boyhood club Newell's Old Boys.
Both footballing giants have gone on to much success away from their native Argentina, but have kept their roots close to their hearts.
While Messi has often expressed his desire to finish his playing career at his first club, Pochettino now too is eyeing a link-up with the superstar back in Argentina.
The former Spurs boss, who has been out of work since being sacked in north London last November, told Radio del Plata: 'I want to return to Newell's with Messi.
