A player who had an unmemorable loan stint at Liverpool during Jurgen Klopp's first year in charge, has taken on a new job in the fifth of Spanish football.
Klopp was appointed as Liverpool manager in October 2015, and just three months later he made a surprising signing on loan for the remainder of the season.
His side were light in defence so they looked to a player that had almost signed a permanent deal with Southampton.
The centre-back made four appearances for Liverpool, but in an interesting turn of events, he was more used as a striker by the Reds.
