Former Tottenham star Glenn Hoddle was left fuming with VAR after a controversial decision to disallow Harry Kane's stoppage time winner against Sporting Lisbon in their 1-1 draw on Wednesday night.
Spurs were unable to secure a Champions League last-16 spot as Kane's strike was chalked off for a marginal offside - despite appearing to be behind the ball as Emerson Royal had headed it across the face of goal.
There were scenes of delirium from the home side as Kane wheeled away with his team-mates and manager Antonio Conte sprinted down the touchline - before officials put an end to their celebrations following a lengthy VAR check.
