For many, the pending appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as Paris Saint-Germain boss means Dele Alli's scripted exit from Tottenham is nigh on complete.

Seemingly an outcast under Jose Mourinho, Alli would run into the arms of his former mentor in France to revive his career.

Last week's public dressing down from an angry Mourinho only raised expectation that when the January transfer window opens on Saturday, Alli will not be seen for the proverbial dust.

Alli has not looked comfortable under Mourinho.
