Tottenham stalwart Eric Dier’s future under Ange Postecoglou is looking bleak, with the defender set to be left out of the squad to face Fulham in the EFL Cup on Tuesday night.
Dier hasn’t featured in a single one of the Postecoglou’s opening three match-day squads during Spurs’ unbeaten start to the season.
There had been hope that Dier would feature at Craven Cottage tonight given where the EFL Cup stands in Tottenham’s priorities.
However, it is understood Dier is set to be left out again to provide a clear indication that he is not in Postecoglou’s plans.
