Erik ten Hag says Manchester United will do everything they can to sign a new striker this summer as talks continue with Atalanta over Rasmus Hojlund.
United have acquired midfielder Mason Mount and goalkeeper Andre Onana in this transfer window, but Ten Hag has made signing a new centre-forward a priority.
The club have turned to Hojlund after deciding that a move for Tottenham’s Harry Kane is unrealistic, but have been frustrated by Atalanta’s £86million valuation.
‘We will do everything that's in our power to get the right man in,’ said Ten Hag.
