Jermaine Jenas hit out at Tottenham defender Eric Dier for not being aggressive enough in the build-up to Milan's winning goal on Tuesday night.
Theo Hernandez was allowed to bear down on goal after convincingly winning an areal duel with right back Cristian Romero.
His shot was saved by Spurs goalkeeper Fraser Forster, but Brahim Diaz forced the ball home at the second attempt in the seventh minute.
And Jenas claimed Dier should have done more to prevent the goal.
Jenas said: 'When you get to that situation where Eric Dier comes into the equation he has to much better there.
