Tottenham centre back Eric Dier could make a sensational return to Sporting Lisbon, according to reports.
Dier has been frozen out this season at Spurs since new manager Ange Postecoglou joined the club.
His contract in North London will expire in the summer, and it is looking increasingly unlikely he will be offered a new one considering Postecoglou's initial success.
Now, according to the Times, the 29-year-old has been tipped to make an emotional return to his former club Sporting Lisbon.
