Dane Scarlett's first-half header gave England Under 20s the perfect start to their World Cup campaign in Argentina as they look to follow in the footsteps of the victorious 2017 side.
Tottenham striker Scarlett, 19, turned in captain Harvey Vale's cross midway through the first half to see off Tunisia and give Ian Foster's side all three points at the Estadio Unico Diego Armando Maradona in La Plata.
Foster said: 'We controlled the game from start to finish.
'It is true we could have been a bit more ruthless — the boys were a little nervous, it is normal for the first game.
