Eder Militao 'is on Jose Mourinho's shortlist of targets in the January window as Spurs boss eyes a swoop for out-of-favour Real Madrid man'... who hasn't played any La Liga football since October despite costing a mammoth £43m just 18 months ago

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Real Madrid defender Eder Militao to the club before the transfer window closes.

Militao, who has played nine times for Brazil, joined Real Madrid for £43million from Porto in March 2019, but he's struggled to establish himself in the side.

The 22-year-old played 15 times in La Liga last season as the side won the title, but his future at the club is uncertain after making just three appearances across all competitions this season.

Tottenham showed interest in Militao in the last transfer window, and now that he hasn't featured for Los Blancos at all since he tested positive for coronavirus in early-November, he's back on the north Londoners' radar.
