Eddie Hearn says 'progress' has been made in regards to Anthony Joshua's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk and reveals both parties are 'moving forward' with a June agreed as a potential date.
AJ is due to face Usyk for a second time this year after losing his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO belts on a unanimous points decision in front of a sell-out crowd at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September last year.
Joshua immediately triggered a rematch clause in their contract after his loss, but the likelihood of the bout was thrown into question when Usyk signed up with the Kyiv Territorial Defence when Russia invaded Ukraine.
