DEAL CLOSE! Tottenham hope to conclude deal for Argentinian defender Juan Foyth

Tottenham are looking to step up their summer transfer business by signing Juan Foyth from Estudiantes, according to reports.

Spurs announced the club-record signing of Davinson Sanchez on Thursday after agreeing a £42million fee with Ajax.

And now the north Londoners are hoping to conclude a deal for Foyth, with Maurcio Pochettino’s side entering advanced negotiations for the player.

According to The Guardian, Spurs have offered £9million for the 19-year-old defender and are hopeful of concluding a deal.

The Argentinian youngster looked to be heading to Paris-Saint Germain after the Ligue 1 outfit reportedly agreed a fee with Estudiantes last month.
