David Raya has piled the pressure onto Brentford to let him leave the club, sharing his belief that he at the stage in his career where he wants 'to step up' and hunt for silverware.

The Bees goalkeeper has been tracked with interest by Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United, where he could bid to unseat his compatriot David de Gea as No 1 for the Red Devils.

But Brentford are determined to hang onto the Spaniard or else lose him to the tune of a bumper £40million fee.

The 27-year-old has started for Brentford since their days in the Championship, joining the side in 2019, and helping the club win promotion to the top flight will always keep the Bees close to his heart, despite a growing desire to move on.
