A Danny Rose goal midway through the second half was enough to secure all three points for Tottenham in a 2-1 win over relegation strugglers Burnley. The visitors took the lead against the run of play after a misunderstanding between Harry Winks and Kyle Walker let them in down the left flank. Dele Alli settled Tottenham's nerves with a well-taken goal from a Walker cross five minutes later. The home side failed to find much penetration despite largely dominating play, but they found enough to take all three points and remain in fifth place in the Premier League table.
