Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has hit back at fans amid claims he is not investing enough in the club.
The north London outfit have endured a nightmare season under Ange Postecoglou, slipping to 14th in the Premier League with a grim tally of just 34 points ahead of the March international break.
Prior to the January transfer window, Postecoglou persistently attributed his side's struggles to an availability crisis within his squad, with several top stars such as Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie out injured.
A glut of Tottenham fans called for Levy to invest heavily in the squad during the January transfer window in the hope of turning the team's fortunes, but Spurs only brought in a few stars including back-up goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, former Lens centre-half Kevin Danso and Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel on loan.
