Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has signed a new contract, the Premier League club have announced.
The deal will see the Belgium international stay at White Hart Lane until at least 2019.
Vertonghen has been in negotiations since the end of last season and his new contract extends his commitment to Spurs by a year.
The 29-year-old moved to White Hart Lane in July 2012 from Ajax and has become a key figure under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
