Inter Milan have revealed that they are looking to sell Christian Eriksen as he is banned from playing in Italy with an implanted defibrillator, potentially threatening the end of his football career.
Eriksen was fitted with a defibrillator after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark against Finland at Euro 2020 in June.
Serie A rules prevent players from playing in competitive games with a defibrillator but Eriksen could continue his career in another country.
Ajax defender Daley Blind, for example, was also fitted with an ICD after being diagnosed with heart muscle inflammation, but has continued playing for the Eredivisie champions, as well as internationally for Holland.
