Harry Kane was a one-season wonder. Then he did it for another season. Then another. And another.
Until finally he was accepted as an every-season wonder for Tottenham. Even Arsenal fans would have to agree he is a fantastic footballer.
Yet if he departs now, this leaves a bitter taste.
Not because I begrudge Kane being interested in going to Bayern Munich. A striker as good as that should have trophies to show for his goals.
But because of how this was dropped on Ange Postecoglou the day before the start of the new Premier League season.
