Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has rubbished claims made by Mauricio Pochettino suggesting he rejected a move to Tottenham because of Harry Kane.

The Tottenham boss revealed he was interested in bringing the Spain international to the Premier League before he eventually joined Chelsea in the summer for £70million.

And Pochettino put the rejection down to the former Real Madrid man being worried about competing for a first-team spot with Kane.
