Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with a shock move to Chelsea as Antonio Conte’s future remains unresolved, and he would be a great choice for the club according to former midfielder Steve Sidwell.
Pochettino, the Tottenham manager, has emerged as a target for the Stamford Bridge club should Conte leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
The Italian is expected to depart following Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester United, having failed to guide the Blues to Champions League qualification; they will play in the Europa League next season having finished fifth in the Premier League.
