Harry Kane announced himself in Europe with two brilliant goals as Tottenham beat Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the Champions League at Wembley on Wednesday.
Afterwards, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino said he hoped Kane would "get the credit he deserves" after his goals in the competition, declaring him "one of the best strikers in the world."
Kane's statistics already compare favourably with the best forwards on the planet, particularly since the start of this calendar year.
ESPN FC took a look at Kane by numbers:
• Kane has scored 29 goals in 27 games across all competitions in 2017, the same number as Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, but in three fewer appearances.
