Tottenham winger Bryan Gil has revealed that his family were keen on him ditching the north London club for a return to Spain after completing a loan move to Valencia.
Gil will spend the rest of the campaign at the Spanish side having struggled to make an impression on his first six months in the Premier League where he is yet to start a game.
The 20-year-old only arrived at Spurs in the summer from Sevilla for £21million in a deal that also saw Erik Lamela head in the opposite direction.
