Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert takes a leaf out of Philippe Coutinho's book as he kneels behind the wall to defend Christian Eriksen free-kick

Christian Eriksen has built a reputation for his dangerous free-kicks and Anthony Knockaert followed in Philippe Coutinho's footsteps in his novel way of attempting to defend them.

The final moment of the first half on Tuesday's clash between Spurs and Brighton at the AMEX Stadium saw the visiting side win a free-kick in a promising position just outside the 18-yard box.

With Eriksen standing behind the ball, Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert took up a position kneeling behind his team's wall in an effort to prevent the threat of the Dane trying to go under it.
