Brighton are still unhappy despite receiving an apology from Howard Webb admitting that officials made the WRONG CALL - for the third time this season - for not awarding Brighton a penalty against Tottenham

Brighton remain unhappy despite referees chief Howard Webb apologising for the officials’ failure to award them a penalty in their defeat by Tottenham.

It is the third time this season Roberto De Zerbi’s side have been on the wrong end of a decision which was later deemed to be incorrect.

Brighton and Tottenham were level at 1-1 when Kaoru Mitoma fell under a second-half challenge by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Neither referee Stuart Attwell nor VAR Michael Salisbury deemed it a penalty.

Webb has since conceded that officials made the wrong call.
