Brendan Rodgers' trusted right-hand man Chris Davies is set to join Ange Postecoglou’s coaching team at Tottenham Hotspur.
And that could hand Celtic a significant boost in their quest to keep assistant manager John Kennedy.
Postecoglou asked Kennedy to join him on a four-year deal in north London. Despite expressing a desire to leave, the former Scotland defender is bound by the terms of an agreement blocking the Australian from poaching former staff.
Rodgers has spoken to Kennedy to make it clear that he wants him to remain at the club, with talks continuing.
