Borussia Dortmund are ready to battle Tottenham for the signing of Freiburg forward Maximilian Philipp.
The 23-year-old bagged nine goals last season and is reportedly ready to move on during the summer transfer window.
Tottenham have been linked with the German, while he is also on the radar of RB Leipzig.
However, according to Kicker, Dortmund are now ready to swoop for Philipp after Marco Reus picked up another injury.
The Germany international suffered a partial ligament tear in his knee, during the German Cup last month, and he faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines as he could now be out until October.
