Wales defender Ben Davies believes the country has 'taken the next step' by reaching the World Cup, calling for his teammates to achieve something special in Qatar.

Tottenham defender Davies is set to play in his third international tournament for the Dragons, and his first World Cup, having helped Rob Page's men defeat Ukraine in the qualifying play-off during the summer to qualify for the competition.

This will be the first World Cup finals for the Welsh in 64 years, when they take to the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium on Monday night against the USA, with the 29-year-old confident that his side can achievement as much success in this tournament as they did at Euro 2016.
