Harry Kane should not be among the contenders for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year, former Arsenal star Ray Parlour has told talkSPORT.
The Tottenham striker has been in outstanding form for club and country in 2017, scoring 47 goals in 45 games.
But Parlour insists his achievements do not merit a place on the 12-strong list for the prestigious prize alongside the likes of Anthony Joshua, Lewis Hamilton and Mo Farah.
Speaking on the Sports Breakfast, the former Arsenal star said: "I'm surprised Harry is on it.
"He hasn't won the Premier League or gone to the World Cup and scored the winning goal or anything like that.
